It’s true. Bill Watterson is very much not dead, and he is painting. There’s a super cool rumour that he sets fire to all of his paintings after he’s done painting them (part of that “your first five hundred paintings are crap” idea). You can take a look at one he didn’t burn here (via).

Bill Watterson, why are you so magical? Calvin and Hobbes is something you want to save for your own kids.
