Sorry for the long delayed update. I’ve been busy trying to get rich for the last two months so I let my creative bits slide.

Currently I’m writing this from Seoul, South Korea, the internet is insanely fast in my service apartment.

Currently I’m looking into some import and export of Skin care products. I always knew I would make my money millions of Snake oil.

Finally moved out of my apartment. I am officially homeless.

Can’t believe the amount of crap I have accumulated over the last 2 years. I vow to buy less crap from now on, I shall only buy things that are necessary.

I made the mistake of asking my parents to come help me pack up my stuff, and they drove me nuts. I thought it be faster, but I discovered that can’t stand it when people move my stuff around as I mentally catalog everything. Once the object is no longer where I cataloged it to be, I go bat shit over my wasted memory.

Being officially homeless has its drawbacks. I’m crashing at 3 different places now. Each has their own house rules, so I’m not really getting quality rest. The worst of the places is my dad’s place. He has crazy rules like no noise after 9pm. The side effect of sleeping at 9pm is waking up at 5am.

7 more days until I leave for Hong Kong. Wonder if I will survive until then.

Found out today my friend’s dad passed away.

Life is short. Move towards your goals, before your time runs out.

Long time no post.

Totally fallen off the writing wagon. As a result Alex being the handsome and smart fellow that he is, has stepped in and fully authored and drew the above comic. What a good sport!

So I decided to pack up all my stuff and move to Asia for 5 months. This will be my longest time away from Toronto ever.

I really hate packing. I discovered the reason behind this hate in the book Willpower: Rediscovering the Greatest Human Strength. This is the longest audio-book I’ve have listened to to-date.

The first 20 or so chapters of the book go over how willpower is finite, and must be conserved for major willpower burning activities such as making decisions. I finally found out that my Dad, had instilled a great deal of willpower reserves in me through the rigid childhood he prescribed me. Having a redundant and strict schedule increases willpower reserves, as does shaving every morning and using the GTD methodology.

As a result of my new found understanding of how I tick. I’ve decided to make a bet with Winnie, to post everyday until DEC 15th, or put 10 dollars in a jar for every missed post. Be it new comic ideas or just ranting. I will test the notion that writing everyday will make you better.

As for Google Drive. It will take over the jobs of many people, such as truckers, taxi cab drivers, and bus drivers. I have a feeling these professionals may not even know that this is the eventual outcome.

I took a marketing geography class in university. The lesson was keep a good distance from your competition and you will be a-okay.

Ironically the above rule does not apply in Hong Kong. They tend to clump shops of similar type together, i.e. the Golden Computer Shopping Arcade or Home Square.

I do see cases of that in Toronto, as we have the College Street computer store cluster, or Queen Street for fashion goods.

Clustering does save a bunch of time when you are shopping for a specific item. However it can become a pain in the butt when you have to travel to the “Computer Center” to get an iPhone charger.

True story.

It’s the only way to get real-ultimate-ending. Also, your combos are worth more.

Most games I play on Normal mode. I figure the game developers are experts at this interactive entertainment razzmatazz, so they’ve finely tuned the difficulty for maximal enjoyment. Except The World Ends With You; that game had a sliding difficulty/drop-rate, so I always jammed that down to get the highest drop rates.

Here’s something you can do if your place has a casual dress code: Business Fridays. On Fridays, wear a tie and dress shirt, wear a three-piece suit, whatever. Go as Mad Men as you can, except maybe without the drinking and smoking (unless you and your workplace is cool with that.) The important part: do this forever. This way, you’ll always have an excuse to wear a tie on Fridays.

Also, schedule job interviews on Fridays.
