As you can tell Alex and I have been really half ass about the comic lately. I blame portal 2 and the royal wedding.
I’ve decided to stop waiting for retirement to live life the way I want. So I’ve decided to start taking acting classes at George brown. Not because I want to become a rich and famous actor, the chances of that are just as good as my startup selling to Bill Gates. Just sitting in front of the computer for 15 hours a day has really killed my social skills. I just feel awkward around people. So hopefully this will make me less so over time.
My homework assignment for acting class this week is to mime a task. Something simple like brushing my teeth or something, then add a what if to that task. What if I was brushing my teeth for an interview, how would I brush my teeth then. Once I have that down, I have to memorize a few lines of my favorite song. And finally, I need to really feel something, completely and emotionally.
Fun times.

For that “really feel something, completely, and emotionally” task, how about getting kicked in the balls? It’s impossible to not feel that completely. In fact, you might be so overcome with emotion, you might cry a little.
Also, yes, I spent all of last weekend playing Portal 2. Finished single player, and now I’m all raring to go for the co-op levels. I guess you could say that the ending for the single player mode was… out of this world?

Memorize a few lines of your favorite song? But if the song is your favorite, don’t you already know all the lines?
