Rich is a state of mind. To be wealthy is to experience internal abundance. I wake up every morning and tell myself “I’m rich, I’m full of abundance. The world is my oyster.”
I think I’m starting to believe it.
Getting rich quick is a lie. Even with the above trick, it took me months before I started believing it. And the odd day that I forget, I don’t feel the wealth.
For the longest time I thought there was some magical formula, like adding up 1 to 100 with an equation, to reach “rich”. But to be rich, really financially independent, you must endure.
That’s why successful people always tell you to pursue your passion. This is just a mental shortcut. If you are passionate about something, you have unlimited energy to chase. It is the chasing that will eventually get you to the wealth.
Danny messaged me a few weeks ago, and the conversation roughly went like this. I was spouting quotes from Nichijou, as I was totally into it at the time; the season was ending and the last two episodes had some real emotional punch to them.
